Rob’s career as a performer has taken him to the Royal Albert Hall, Symphony Hall Birmingham, the Hammersmith Apollo and Ronnie Scott’s, alongside musicians including Boris Brovtsyn, Richard Durrant, Tom Gamble, Dominic Grier, Braimah Kanneh-Mason and Omar Puente.
A committed and enthusiastic teacher of violin and piano, Rob has taught privately in London and Paris, and in Prague at the International School of Music and Fine Arts. He is a peripatetic violin and piano teacher at Lancing Prep Worthing and a Visiting Music Teacher of violin for West Sussex Music.
He began violin with Katharine Adams in Worthing before studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Trinity Laban Conservatoire, later studying in Vienna with Barna Kobori and in London with Stephanie Gonley and Ofer Falk — with the invaluable guidance of Peter Poole in Sussex throughout.

Performance
Rob gives recitals around the South Coast as a duo with pianist Evelina Ndlovu, expanding to a trio with flautist Katrin Heymann — most recently at Chapel Royal and St Nicholas in Brighton, and the Sigurjón Ólafsson Museum in Reykjavík.
On jazz violin he has performed with Duke of Norfolk (Adam Howard) at La Maroquinerie in Paris and Sur Les Pavés in Cordes-sur-Ciel, and at the Jailhouse in Arundel with Big House.
He plays with Musicians of All Saints in Lewes, is Co-Leader of Worthing Philharmonic Orchestra, and has a long-standing association with Zoe Peate’s Cantatrice choir as violin soloist in West Sussex and London.
